Our First Annual Summer Fundraiser was a huge success. With your help, we exceeded our $5,000 goal raising over $8,500! We are so grateful, humbled and inspired by the outcome. As promised, the funds have been allocated to offset inflation and overall increase in cost of living in Uganda. The excess funds afforded us a rare opportunity to purchase much needed clothing and shoes for our kids. We also surprised the children with a trip home to Kyankwanzi and had a special celebration to include a delicious meal, 2023 TMHU T-shirts, singing, dancing, love and laughter for the entire community.

 

Funds raised were used to offset the overall rise in care costs:

         $1,000 Medical / Emergency Fund

         $1,000 Summer FUN project (each child will receive a 2023 TMHU T-shirt, small gift and celebration

                   with cake and snacks 

 

Donations were made in multiple ways for this Fun(d)raiser. Individuals made PayPal Donations, Personal Checks, Shirt Donations, and T-shirt or Sweatshirt purchases, where a portion of the proceeds were given to TMHU. Thank you to all who supported this fundraiser and for the continued outpour of love to these children.
