Our Projects

Don't let our small size fool you! Big things are happening here at TMHU. We are motivated by our hard-working kids in Uganda and strive to match their energy in pursuit for greatness. Here are our current goals:

  • Increase sponsorship to ensure every child is fully sponsored.

  • Improve communication with sponsors and friends through quarterly newsletters.

  • Launch new fundraising platform for organization and efficiency.

  • Fundraise for the Higher Education Initiative that was established in January, 2024.

  • Support our students who are enrolling in university.

  • Prepare the next group of candidates for university in August 2026.

  • Plan our next TMHU Uganda trip to bring supplies and engage with students and educators to assess needs.

We can't do this alone.  Become part of the TMHU family today!

When you sponsor one of our children, you are partnering with us to help secure a healthy and meaningful future for them.  At TMHU, we make a family from strangers and are excited to welcome you into this family!

Many of our qualified students have graduated from high school and are eager for the next steps. Our goal is to raise funds to send our TMHU kids to a university or trade school.

Help our team bring clothes, shoes, toiletries, sporting equipment, medical supplies, non-perishable foods, for our kids and mentors.

Each fall we fundraise for the much anticipated annual TMHU Christmas Party held in December, a joyous celebration for all.

For this project, our goal was to provide bed frames, mattresses, and clean bedding for each child while they are on breaks from school.

We raised funds for a plaster finish to help protect Pastor Peter's home from structural damage and further deterioration.

The kitchen at Pastor Peter's home was a mud hut with a dirt floor which was rapidly eroding. We rebuilt it for safe use and food preparation.

This project has greatly improved the overall health and quality of life for Pastor Peter, his family and all of the children.

Water Well.jpg

This well was dug just steps outside Pastor Peter's home.  It has become the community's primary water source in place of a muddy pond shares by cows.

Pastor Peter's home was a mud/dung hut that was sadly destroyed in a fire in July 2015.  This new home accommodates our children on school breaks.
